Black Olive and Christopher's Beastly Book Tour!

SLG creators Black Olive and Christopher are embarking on The Beastly Book Tour in August to promote their comics Outlook: Grim and The Ghouly Boys! The two cartoonists will appear at eight comic book stores in the western United States to meet fans and sign books.

Aug. 14th at 1:00 pm: Zanadu II, Seattle, WA

In Outlook: Grim sassy-pants Wren makes an unfortunate challenge and unwittingly invites a host of ghosts and ghouls into her home. Having beasties in her bathtub and a portal to the other side in her undies drawer was bad enough, but when they threaten her precious pet snail Ted, Wren must enlist the help of the eccentric Madame Mina and the recently undead Gregorey. The sixth and final issue of Outlook: Grim will be released in August, and the series will be collected into a trade paperback in January 2005.

The Ghouly Boys tells the story of five young misfits -- Zombie Boy, Fat Bat, Puppy, Sammy Hain Boogie and Fishboy -- who search for their place in the world and discover friendship along the way. Issue two will be released in July.

Perhaps I should read the whole post before flying off into a rage and posting comments. I just read that the FINAL issue of Outlook: Grim will be out in August. Final, wha? Is Black Olive planning or working on any other projects? I love her work and will be sad to see Outlook coming to an end. *double pouts*

Final sounds so..so..FINAL...
Howdy!

Thx for the concern about the O:G, but have no worries, really! Nothing is on the official schedule as of yet, but I'm working away on many spookalicious ideas. Some O:G related, some not. Mysterious enough? Tee hee.

Not to worry -- we'll be doing more spooky stuff with Black Olive.

And SLG peeps were just in New York for MOCCA. But we really can't help it that most of the cool cons are out here in California. :-)
