First, manager of the Toronto comic book store The Beguiling Chris Butcher recommends it at his blog, Comics212: "...the dialogue, humour, pacing, and especially the art are all really excellent. If you get a chance, give this one a look because I think it’s going to be something of a sleeper hit, and I’m sure that the author and the publisher (Slave Labor Graphics) would rather it was an out-and-out spectacular hit, you know what I’m saying?"
Yep, we know exactly what you're saying. (Note the spelling of humor -- it is one of the ways you can spot a Canadian. Lucky them get to use the British spelling of words without being pretentious. You know you wish you could go around using "colour" and "tyre" and calling the trunk of your car the "boot" and the hood the "bonnet." Yeah, I do that with my car, but I drive a Mini, and those terms come in the Mini British Pretense Package I got.)
You might have noticed that the Comics212 post I link to is dominated by a huge image of the cover of Scott Pilgrim Volume 4. (I was just re-reading the rest of the series, in fact. If you haven't read Scott Pilgrim or at least heard of it yet, you're probably non-existent, but just in case you do exist, you should read it. It's fun.) Scott Pilgrim's creator, fellow Canadian and family friend of Faith, Bryan Lee O'Malley, recommends it as well, at his LiveJournal.

... or is that just TOO meta?
I can't wait for this book!
I like how Michael Bay is considered even more evil than all of Hollywood and thus, gets put into his own category.
I'm also looking forward to this book as well as any unnecessary sequels that may follow.
